I thought this was a "justice" campaign, a la "Free the Birmingham Six"
I didn't realise that butchering vegetables was a thing...... although many UK restaurants do a good job of abusing them!
Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get me

Does any restaurant abuse vegetables the way the British housewife used to and no doubt some still do? e.g. cook the cabbage until the water is greener than the vegetable then squeeze out all the moisture. And leave a mess on the plate with most of the goodness in the drain.

I recall an elderly neighbour complaining about a local gastropub..... "The carrots were still crunchy!!" she said..... "and we had to send the beef back three times before it was properly cooked!!!"
I'm sure the owner regretted opening on the "Costa Geriatrica"
