Something for Farage and the "true" Brexiteers to get their teeth into - the EU have imposed a 25% tariff on some steel exports from the UK to NI.

No doubt some will foam at the mouth about this....... but of course it applies to SOME steel exports and is entirely based on prevention of exportation into the EU from NI without tariffs, when exportation direct from mainland UK is otherwise subject to them. I bet the headlines won't point out any of that...... just as they ignore the fact that the majority of AMs are supportive of the NIP and business organizations recognize that it has been a boon to exports, post-pandemic.
The answer to the issues of cross-channel migration is obviously for migrants to rock up to the UK border in Ireland and just walk across it, without the need for people smugglers or dangerous boats. Of course, they can't do that because the Republic is not part of Schengen and actively prevents such activities - again, not something the Brexiteers (or Unionists) mention.
