A MAN was walking along a beach when he spotted a lamp In the sand. He picked it up and gave it a rub. A genie appeared and granted- him a wish. The man said: "I want to live forever." The genie said: "I'm not allowed to grant eternal life." "OK then," the man said, "I want to die when the EU auditors sign off its accounts." The genie replies: "You crafty swine."
This must be an old joke, as the man will have died in 2007. Even if he were resurrected annually, he would die again every year since then when the auditors signed off the EU accounts every year.

The Oppos are claiming BJ act of suspending parliament is 'Undemocratic' because it's stops them overturning the democratic vote
Yes. We're parliamentary democracy. We're not 'taking bak control' just to take it away from our elected representatives so we can chase the worst possible form of Brexit.

It;s better than a soap opera reality show at the moment
And what will be the outcome?
No one knows
On this, regrettably, I think we all agree.

Seems more like a disaster movie.
Or even worse - the Jeremy Kyle show, with lots of people shouting at each other, blaming everyone but themselves, various participants storming off, etc...

The trouble is that the whole thing has long stopped being about what's best for the country.
It's all about Winning and practically no-one* is arguing that NoDeal will be a Good Thing**.
---
* Except Trump, Pence and Putin. And they mean No Deal is a Good Thing for them, not us.
** Bill Cash et al doubtless believe that being 'free' of the EU is a Good Thing but even they're not seriously arguing that No Deal won't be disruptive.

What do MP's want ?
Fact's
They have rejected the current deal several times
The EU say they won't budge on the current deal.
The MP's have now prevented a No Deal
What's left ??
edit - The majority of constituencies voted to leave and the majority of MP's are remainers

After banging on and on and on about how the Tories are 'Messing up' Brexit and how the Labour party could 'Sort it' and calling for an General Election EVERY OTHER WEEK.

Why the heck should the opposition and decent Tory MP's vote for an election that the in the words of Boris Johnson "I do not want and the people do not want" or in the words of the lady at the last GE "what another one"?
Decent Tory MP's have been deselected, some parties have been told who will be parachuted into their constituency at the next election. MP's who have always voted for the Govt. on one occasion have been kicked out of their party but the Leader of the House of Commons, Rees Mogg has voted against the Govt.100 times. How hypocritical is this?
Johnson and his puppet master Cummings have been planning to have a quick election even before he was elected leader of the Tory party.
A purge of one nation MP's and turn the Tory Party into the Brexit Party.
Those who voted against the Govt. have the nation's interest at heart. Do not forget in every election since the referendum the anti Brexit parties have seen an increase in their share of the vote.
We do not need another General Election but we do need a People's Vote so all MP's know what the country wants know they understand what Brexit will do to their area. And remember we are talking about people's jobs and the majority of working age people voted remain. Those of working age in this country need to have a say on their future.
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler
