How our shares performed last week

The performance of our investments during the week ending 11th September was as follows:


Bakkavor rose 12.45p to 65.45p, a gain of 23.5%
Originally bought 711 at £1.40 on 11 Feb 2020

Braemar Shipping Services rose 4p to £1.38, a gain of 3%
Originally bought 788 at £1.27 on 5 Jun 2020

Codemasters rose 8p to £3.80, a gain of 2.2%
Originally bought 337 at £2.96 on 20 Jan 2020

Pure Gold Mining rose 31.5p to £1.58, a gain of 24.9%
Originally bought 2342 at 42.7p on 23 Aug 2019
Then bought a further 573 at £1.31 on 4 Aug 2020

Ramsdens stayed unchanged at £1.35
Originally bought 533 at £1.88 on 21 Jun 2019

The FTSE 100 index rose 260 points to 6048 points, a gain of 4.5%


The FTSE 350 index rose 116 points to 3401 points, a gain of 3.5%


The total value of our investments rose £1065.22 to £8158.64, a gain of 15%

Bakkavor fell 0.65p to 64.8p, a loss of 1%
Originally bought 711 at £1.40 on 11 Feb 2020

Braemar Shipping Services rose 5p to £1.43, a gain of 3.6%
Originally bought 788 at £1.27 on 5 Jun 2020

Codemasters fell 18p to £3.62, a loss of 4.7%
Originally bought 337 at £2.96 on 20 Jan 2020

Pure Gold Mining rose 0.5p to £1.59, a gain of 0.3%
Originally bought 2342 at 42.7p on 23 Aug 2019
Then bought a further 573 at £1.31 on 4 Aug 2020

Ramsdens stayed unchanged at £1.35

Pure Gold Mining fell 24p to £1.35, a loss of 15.1%
Originally bought 2342 at 42.7p on 23 Aug 2019
Then bought a further 573 at £1.31 on 4 Aug 2020

Ramsdens fell 11p to £1.24, a loss of 8.1%
Originally bought 533 at £1.88 on 21 Jun 2019

The FTSE 100 index fell 201 points to 5828 points, a loss of 3.3%


The FTSE 350 index fell 95 points to 3295 points, a loss of 2.8%


The total value of our investments fell £1012.77 to £6787.44, a loss of 13%

Poor week for shares, off the back of increased lockdowns and markets taking a battering. Interesting to see what next week brings.
