I wonder if this will ever be resolved?
I thought it was going to be "Did the ball cross the line ? "

F.I.F.A have completely eradicated corruption from their entire organisation with one piece of genius legislation. How sepp blatter didn't come up with it I dont know .
The word corruption, which used to appear in thier code of conduct and ethics over 100 times has been removed and changed to more suitable and friendly phrases .

So from now on at fifa there will be no more corruption ever, or ever before, that word doesn't exist in the code and therefore can't be a charge used against fifa or it's members .

There may be some bribe taking, stealing , arranging deals to suit ones own interests, blackmail, coercion, skimming off the top, freebies, inflated expense claims, and general fraud, but none of that nasty C word.

A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet as someone once said ;) But my feeling is if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck it is a duck (almost certainly a Mallard but still a duck)

I knew it was a quote by Good Will Hunting but was not 100% sure I had correctly quoted him

Talking about football... Is it only the big issues that get buried...?
