I have also had some very old transactions rejected yesterday. (Richard must have had some time off from his regular job to do some housekeeping). In my case they were freebies where the vendor had welched on the deal. As the transaction was recorded automatically, the merchant is part of the cashback guarantee scheme and the service purchased was completed successfully (and I had used them before), I am somewhat surprised by this outturm, but have queried Richard for an explanation...

Accepted, though in the end everything I raised has been addressed. We know Richard is spending less time on site administration, but it's still ticking over. At least here we have a forum to raise specific issues, unlike the other sites where it is all done behind closed doors.
