Checked cashback rates a few days ago as about to book a holiday on Ebookers - IM was joint best rate at 3.5% for flight + hotel so was best choice with the cashback guarantee. Came back to book it today and it is now in suspenders!!! Back to TCB I go and IM misses out again...
But if it's suspended, there must be a reason - maybe they didn't pay up and the cashback guarantee has to be used...... If that's the case, good luck with TopCat!!
Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get me

Yet another transaction with a "Cashback Guarantee" merchant has been rejected, this one after having to be raised as a claim when it didn't register properly. After last month's rejection of cashback, I am getting a bit dubious about the reliability of the system......
A good percentage of recent transactions have had to be claimed manually..... and many others seem to take days to register if they actually do show up automatically. It's not something down to imutual necessarily, but it makes the whole process less straightforward.
Since I have all the proof that the purchase was made and delivered, I've asked Richard for some info on the rejection..... because although it'ds just a couple of quid, that's becoming significant when there are few opportunities to build up my balance!

This situation has now been resolved. Thank you Sue.
