Is that an existing customer rate?
my rate, on the Iss7 account, was moved up to 3.25%, but they have the Iss8 account available paying the same rate.

Thanks.
Limited Access Saver (Online) (8)
Rate 3.25%
This is a limited access account. You can take money out of your account up to six times a year without having to pay a charge. From the seventh withdrawal onwards (which can include closure), you’ll receive a charge equal to 50 days’ interest based on the amount you’re withdrawing.

So many increases lately... although we might be approaching a short term maxima now. 2-3 year fixed rates seem to have gone pretty flat.

agreed. 3.25% seems fair to store cash for a while. withdrawals limited to that extent is fine by me too. i don't even know if those terms are the same on my account.

Reading today that rates could hit 6.5%-7% (worst case scenario)

Best case scenario for me as i havent any substantial debt.

Yes great for some of us but for the younger ones who would love to live in the place so many generations of their family have lived it can make that desire impossible. This is what I posted on FB yesterday and it makes me feel so sad for all younger people today.

We passed a house in Aldeburgh today and remembered when it was up for sale. The description said downstairs lounge, kitchen and one bedroom upstairs. Cannot remember if the loo was upstairs or down but can clearly remember that the "bathroom" was the sea.
No, there is no garden as it is surrounded by a car park but it does have sea views.
This is from Zoopla: Sold on 1st March 2021for £475,000 and today they think it would cost £509,000.
Sorry but if I had half a million pounds to spend I would want more than a house without a bathroom that is surrounded by a car park.
If you do not believe me check out 29 Crag Path Aldeburgh Suffolk.
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler
