If you do not like sprouts, use orange food colouring to turn them orange and then you can pretend they are carrots.

Cut the bottom/stalk off the sprouts before peeling off the dead leaves: it makes removing the dead leaves easier

Serious tip for sprouts:
As you cut the bottom off, cut a cross into the base. This helps them cook quicker and more evenly so they aren't so bitter inside. You can do that some time ahead and freeze them like that to save time on the day.

Turkey, 20 minutes a £ plus 20
If it’s over 75 it’s cooked
Roasts, I pare boil mine, but Aunt Bessy are fine
Same with the veg Frozen is very good quality nowadays
Gravy, a packet of Bisto, same with stuffing, packet mix is okay
If the kids want Turkey Twizzlers chip and ketchup let them have it
If you don’t like Christmas pudding don’t buy it get something that goes with tinned custard
Finally ANYONE whose dining at your table should help with the prep or washing up THE END
A V Merry Christmas to you all
