Much Too Young

Post by macliam » Tue Dec 20 2022 1:04am

This one really hits home.....

Terry Hall of the Specials and Fun Boy Three has died, aged 63.

I met him in the FBT days, through a mate of mine who was "in the business". He was a bit of a troubled soul to say the least, but I was just awe-struck....jeez he was a kid back then and so much talent.

RIP rude boy.

Far too young to die but his music will live on for a long time

I'd like to think this really is a tribute to Terry, but it's the Torygraph, so likely not......

NO? Well I don't think that Terry Hall was trying to pin the problems on rail workers and Ambulancemen, rather than the series of useless Tory governments who have been too busy making themselves and their buddies rich to look after the "heroes" they clapped so loudly during the pandemic - was he?

Duh, I know that, it's the reason for my comment. So do you think Terry WOULD have supported the message in that cartoon? All that's missing is a nurse smothering a patient....

As for "pervy", I'd say that's more suited to certain government ministers - and for those who misuse the words of a late artist to uphold a lie.
