I'm sure Mr Pintail is very handsome. Being an old fashioned sort of duck, I would appreciate it very much if you would consent to be our chaperone after you have made the introductions.
He is not used to posting on forums but Mr Pintail asked me to post this photo of him that a human took:

He would like to point out that the females in the picture flock round him although he has told them he has seen drawings of Jemima Puddleduck and they do not hold a candle to her and so are wasting them time.

Mr Pintail is indeed very handsome, Mr/Ms Blythburgh. Thank you so much for posting his photograph.

I am slightly concerned though that should Mr Pintail and I become betrothed, his friends and neighbours may not welcome me to their group. I am sure there are many mothers and fathers who live on Mr Pintail's pond that would like their duck-daughters to become Mr Pintail's beloved.

I am a Ms blythburgh and as Mr Pintail has rebuffed all other ducks as he carries a torch for you I do not think it would be a problem. The other ducks have become resigned to the situation.

Luckily when they are my preferred size they dont need much chasing. Unless they are trying to catch McDonalds before the breakfast menu goes off.

Dear Mrs Puddleduck, I am sorry to say that my philandering husband had been leading you a merry dance. I say philandering but it is only on the internet that he flirts with other ducks. He would not dare to look at any other duck than me let alone anything further. Yours sincerely, Dafila Pintail (Mrs)
