and yes they are em.. that doesn't really argue against my point though. are the underlying investments in the Pru bond supporting those returns? do you have a link to the product please?
I took the bond out in 2002 with £25k , didn't do that well over the financial crisis but is now worth over 60k ,

thank you em, interesting. the only thing i have comparable is an LV bond - opened as a bag. 10% of your game though pal.. £2500 worth c£6000. the concept is still that LV could demutualise or be taken out one day (another shame Goldman aren't struggling for traction
) ..as it happens I have a pension with LV now too, after they absorbed Teachers Assurance.

A few moments searching their T&C found this.
From their terms and conditions
13. How your money is protected
The money you hold in your Marcus account with us is protected under the Financial Services
Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
The FSCS deposit guarantee scheme protects people’s money up to a certain limit. This limit is applied to
the total amount of money you have with both Goldman Sachs International Bank and Marcus by
Goldman Sachs.
You can learn more and check the current limit by reading our FSCS information sheet, visiting our
website or the FSCS website at fscs.org.uk.

.
The banks are able to invest in a large range of fixed rate bonds and get better rates.
I currently have a bond which has made 6-7% for the last 3 years and is on target to do so again this year
WOW, that's a very good easy return.

Marcus are now advertising to attract new customers - hopefully a step closer to offering incentives!
