Do not jump to conclusions until you know the facts

Post by blythburgh » Thu Aug 01 2019 10:44am

Two recent stories prove my point.

1) a man was trapped in rocks at Sheringham. These are from Norway and used as sea defences.

I assumed he, like so many I see at the beach, had been climbing on the rocks despite the warning notices. But no, he and his family had been walking on the slipway when a big wave came in, he was washed onto the rocks and got stuck.

I know, he was silly to be that close to the sea but that happens all the time

2) a local man was arrested, home searched and London anti terror group called in to head investigation.
Must be white extremist was my thought based on the fact that a friend used to live not that far away and he told me how he was threatened because he dared to put a remain poster in his window. And how many people around him who never voted were heading for the polling station shouting "we can get rid of non British people now" though not in words that I could put here of course.

But it turns out he converted to Islam about 3 years ago.

And he had a cat but the story has grown to "he has 17 cats". Wonder what is the truth, the single cat or the ever increasing number he owns. I will never know and to be honest, I do not care. Just hope they are being cared for.
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler

Sorry blythburgh but I don’t believe he was arrested for displaying a’Remain’ poster
If he had been displaying a ‘Brexit ‘ poster then I’d believe it
