As I have pointed out before on at least two occasions, the number of votes in the elections this year showed nothing of the kind. The 2019 Euros showed a clear leave majority.
that's right. it takes some mind bending to try to understand someone pretending otherwise.. but it is apparently quite common. best to stick to the real stuff .

Constantime, I have an "O" level in maths and an ""A" in economics.

What answer do you have to the fact that Mrs May called an election in 2017 and lost her majority?

Could it be because enough deluded Leave voters realised they had voted the wrong way and there were not enough Leave voters who were convinced by real facts to give her a majority?
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler

We have already had a People's Vote in 2016. Why aren't you prepared to accept that outcome?
Some retainers do indeed just refuse to accept that we could be this short-sighted, and argue to cancel brexit on principle.
The closer you get to the middle ground, the more there's a feeling that we've spent three years trying to work out how to achieve Brexit in a way that, even if it doesn't achieve what we were told it would, would nonetheless still be somehow good for the country and the man on the Clapham omnibus. And we can't find a way to do that, so instead we're apparently opting for the worst possible outcome on the grounds that technically it's still leaving, even if it's a crap option for everybody.

So the argument from the middle ground is that now we know a heck of a lot more about the issues and problems and likely outcomes, do we still want to proceed? If the answer is still 'leave', then it would be impossible to argue further against it.

If there was another referendum and we voted to stay , would we then become a second class EU member and forced to pay even more for less

We'd probably lose our specially negotiated benefits (such as the Thatcher rebate, exemption from joining the single currency, exemption from closer economic union, etc) if we leave and later rejoin, but keep them if we revoke A50 to remain members.

The UK could even elect politicians to the EU parliament that would work to improve the EU for the benefit of all, instead of sending jokers with no interest in doing that.

I have seen the workings of the "EU Parliament" at first hand and if you think it works that way or anything like a democratic UK Parliament then you couldn't be further from the truth...! :o

What a nasty comment but I now expect these sort of comments from people who are blind to reality and live in their own little world.
