Well that would be a coincidence happening to three branches all at the same time! Why do you say low foot fall. It is less than 400yds from St Bart's NHS Hospital and the biggest concentration of inhabitants in Central London at Barbican, which is just around the corner and other smaller newer developments surround it - why do people take on board the stereo type that the City is the Bank of England and the rest is just offices... uneducated on this matter, untraveled in this area and very wrong!blythburgh wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29 2020 9:54amWas the Co-op always planning to close this branch due to high overheads and low footfall?
Yes I got that as well, better late than never; it is just full of excuses with no real explanations. One of the closures next to me is close to St Barts NHS Hospital - the Coop's email doesn't remove them from my Corona Virus Villains list. Their strap line: "Putting the Co-op at the heart of local life..." is not really being lived up to, it fact they have driven a stake through that heart; really seems they are only around in the good times!blythburgh wrote: ↑Wed Apr 01 2020 8:02amGot this email from the Co-op (national not local one):
