Citizen Khan wants Londoners to all wear masks...

Post by Boro Boy » Fri Apr 17 2020 6:53pm

The London Mayor wants us all to wear masks in London (funny in any recent situation I've not seen him wearing one) but some people seem to be taking his directives to the extreme as I spotted on my exercise walk earlier today...:

Yes He's actually referring to Public transport
the WHO say they are not needed and until the government says to I won't be wearing one
They don't actually protect you but other people

'im indoors has had quite a life. In the merchant navy his ship was involved in a life threatening thing like too many cruise ships have experienced with Covid19. All the crew had to have a nasty vaccine and wear face masks. He is shocked at the ineffectual face masks so many essential workers are having to use compared to what he and the rest of the crew were given all those years ago

Many think Citizen Khan is a funny series but I am still confused how Citizen Khan manages to be manage to fit the work on the series as well as be Mayor of London.

I always thought being Mayor of London was a full time job. Oh wait a minute, Boris managed to make it a part time job.

It seems unlike you to be jumping onboard a racial epithet blythburgh. Sadiq Khan was born in Tooting. The sitcom is set in Birmingham. I don't think the two of them look or sound remotely alike.

The amount of effort Citizen Khan puts into the job he might well think being London Mayor is a part time job. All his efforts seem to be going into politically promoting himself and building an empire of committees and departments full of amazingly well paid cronies whose sole job is to conjure up multiple excuses why he does nothing... Except continue to score political points.

It was a play on the constant and nasty "Citizen Khan" references to Mayor Sadiq Khan. i do realise the difference in a real person and one that only exists in the imagination of the scriptwriter and the skill of all those who bring the series to our TV etc screens.

One Khan is a hard working man who can never please everyone and the other Khan is a great sitcom invention
