So I thought it would be a good idea to have a very small clock to take on holiday. Went to The Range as we needed a couple of other things.
Got the clock very cheaply though it is apparently meant to be put on the wall in the home. Not sure why as you would need a pair of binoculars to see the time on such a small clock.
Took it out of the box and the instructions included:
Remove from the box.
Check all parts are there.
Keep all packaging in case it has to be returned to the shop.
And in large dark letters: The batteries must only be inserted by an adult.

Standard safety instructions, possibly mistranslated. Wrongly inserted batteries can cause devices to malfunction or even catch fire if they're poorly designed and built. I don't think it happens as often now as it used to, but the safety instructions still remain.
