Who cares about jobs. Especially jobs in places where people can't vote in our elections.
We've Taken Back Control. No more foreign bananas. Just good British bananas.

So we take back control and turn our backs on the Commonwealth as well as the EU. Thank you to the Govt. not sure many of the Leave voters wanted that.
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler

How ironic.
It seems like bananas have come full circle, so to speak.
One of the myths purported by Boris in the Brexit campaign, was that the EU was banning certain shaped bananas.
Over the last 20+ years, little white lies like this, reiterated by the people with their own agendas, have sown the seeds of mistrust in the EU.
As you sow, so shall you reap.

It's not specifically a Dutch approach; similar restrictions can be applied to unregulated produce from the UK when entering almost any other country, certainly any of EU, USA, CAN, AUS, etc. Also upon attempting to enter the UK too...

We have the benefit now!
Price increases, shortages, delays, red tape?
Who cares - we've Taken Back Control.
