Poor little UK; shut out in the cold. Our remaining connections (Council of Europe and Common Travel Area) won't help much to overcome the newly erected trade barriers...

But, according to an email I've just had from Rt Hon Kwasi Kwarteng MP (Secretary of State for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy),
I am confident that the deals the UK Government has negotiated with the EU, and many other countries around the world, will provide a positive trading environment for businesses like yours to make the most of the new opportunities that this year will bring.

Freight costs up 39% in the first week of January; 47% compared with the third quarter in 2020.
The data backs up what UK freight forwarders have been telling Reuters, that many European drivers are refusing to come to Britain after Brexit. And that prices are soaring.

Well, Boris has "taken back control"...... from Parliament ;)

Who needs a load of pesky oiks questioning the decisions of one's hand-picked talentless arselickers?

Next stop, extend the piddly 5-year term to a proper lifetime job, ensure you've no liability for any unfortunate accidents, get the new missus to take over the day-to-day and get down to some real violin playing!!

Wowser, job done - oven ready, just like the turkeys who bought it last time!!

So... about those trade deals they aspire to do...
Boris Johnson narrowly avoids Commons defeat as MPs vote by 319 to 308 to reject amendment outlawing trade deals with countries that are committing genocide

Disgraceful.

Tory MPs just voted down protections for the NHS in trade deals. It means the NHS is on the table in future deals – ready to be opened-up & sold off to US corporations.

You can't trust the Tories with the NHS.

All right for you guys on mainland, but us poor turkeys in Northern Ireland enjoy empty supermarket shelves thanks to Boris the Liar. Dismissed as "Teething Troubles" by the apparatchik in the Boris Regime, most Mainland foods and imported veg are becoming rarities, Sainsbury's import fish from ROI and it is not selling because of price.typically Sainsbury's UK brand costs circa £5 and Imported from Bray, Co Dublin over £7, Sainbury's give a good Euro to £ exchange and not profiteering . And attempting to substitute Spar goods made locally for own brand. Wait until teething stops and the teeth have grown

The MP's you voted for who actually sit in the House of Commons supported Brexit. Maybe the answer is to vote for the Alliance Party in the next election and show the DUP they need to listen to the people in future.

That's not a very useful comment..... whatever my vote in Suffolk Coastal, a Tory will be MP.... and it's the same for many, many constituencies. Likewise in NI, the likelihood is that any constituency will either return a Unionist (pro-Brexit) or Sinn Féin (non-attending)...... the Alliance Party are virtually a non-starter, unless you happen to live in North Down.
