Christmas cheer

Post by macliam » Thu Dec 22 2022 10:00am

I wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a better New Year for 2023.

The above is an old saying which translates as "May we all be alive at this time again", which in our case means the forums still existing. We have struggled on since the downturn and since kev was taken from us, but the forums are a shadow of their former self, rather like the site overall.

May we keep moaning for a few years yet...... ;)
Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get me

I have been thinking a lot of Kev in the last couple of weeks. His Christmas give away was always amazing but I preferred the monthly quiz.

But it is not the give aways that make me want to weep that he is not here. It is losing someone who was a sort of online friend and one of the loveliest people I have ever known on or off line

Old Kev has crossed my mind recently as well.

He epitomised the community on here and especially so at Christmas. His generosity was selfless and genuine.

I don't frequent the site much now as there are little earning opportunities but heres wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. To the old crew & the new.

Hope your having a Minze pIE or 3 up there Kev,
