Lidl Rewards Change

Post by cocobay71 » Thu Jul 20 2023 6:23pm

Only noticed today that the Lidl Rewards loyalty scheme has changed for the worse IMO.
At £50 spend - free bakery item (maxed with loaf of bread)
At £100 spend - used to be £2 off next shop now a free Gelatelli item
£150 spend stays the same
£250 spend stays the same - 10% off next shop.

Never used Aldi, is it better than lidl for range & prices but I see no loyalty scheme!

I find Aldi better than Lidl. Things are generally better arranged with clearer prices. Prices are very similar to Lidl and quality much the same. The only other difference (apart from lack of loyalty scheme) is they don't have an in-store bakery,

Depends where you are in the country - Lidl is strong in Scotland. Older Aldi stores with pale orange floors are smaller and less good. Newer and refitted ones much better.

Most prices are the same most of the time; the differences are in the range and I find that the Aldi range suits me better - but depends on what you buy.
