I am very interested in the share side of this site and wondered if there was any chance of the company going public instead of just waiting for a buyer?

It will be going public not sold to a buyer unless a buyer comes forward and the members vote for it to be sold. Well that is how I see it but Richard can give you the definitive answer.
My vote goes for staying as a mutual owned by the members as I like it the way it is.
But before the shares can be publicly listed or someone wants to buy the site we need to get far more members and members who are buying via the site.
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler

RY always felt that's it's more likey that a buyer will come forward long Before we were able to go public.
The great thing about a buyer making a bid is it would be upto the share holders to decide if we wanted to sell out
I can't see that I would sell my shares at the sort of price they would offer
